Off The Grid Series - Wyoming and Idaho
Watercolor Series - OFF THE GRID
So much inspiration came from my recent trip to Jackson Wyoming and Victor Idaho. Let's start by talking about the views of the Teton mountain range when landing in Jackson. The Jackson Hole airport is the only airport in the United States that is located inside a National Park. It's truly incredible.
Wildflowers and Wildlife
From there we headed to our friend's home in Victor, Idaho where the breathtaking views kept going. I loved taking notice of the native wildflowers and birds all around. By the home were an abundance of beautiful daisies. And the wildflower I had never heard of was the Wyoming Indian Paintbrush with glowing red color.
From kayaking down the Teton River in Idaho to a more rigorous day trip of whitewater rafting down the Snake River in Wyoming, we definitely were on the move.
And the wildlife was too! We saw three moose and plenty of bald eagles on the river, as well as a black bear, antelope, elk and buffalo in Jackson Hole National Park. The Grand Teton Mountains are amazing, standing tall for all to see. See more photos and videos on my Reels and Instagram feed. I hope you love these small paintings that were inspired by my trip. And I definitely recommend visiting the area in person. It's an experience for the books!
