Getting My Hands Dirty for Inspiration
Posted by Laura Trevey on
As an artist of florals and landscapes, I am inspired by nature every day. Sometimes it's good to get "my hands dirty" in the soil, allowing new ideas to flourish!
I am excited to share my Naturalistic Floral arrangement, which I recently submitted for exhibition at our garden club meeting. Using rocks, pebbles, moss, ferns, and native blooms from my own backyard, I created this contemporary piece which was fun and inspiring. I used my bamboo tray as a natural base which worked well.
