Thinking about how you want to wrap gifts this year? Keep it simple. I love the simplicity of starting with clean white kraft paper. After I cover the package, then I can create and make it pretty with different embellishments. Here are four ideas I came up with last year.
I follow the motto, less is more. I am a big fan of kraft paper and I like to use ribbon and other crafting supplies in bright color to add the zing to my packages.
#1 Holiday Gift Wrapping Ideas: Duct Tape
What you need: white kraft paper and scotch tape, wide strip of duct tape in the pattern and color of your choice. I chose a red and white polka dot pattern for mine. Could this be any cuter and easier?
#2 Holiday Gift Wrapping Ideas: Red and White Baker’s Twine
What you need: white kraft paper and scotch tape, red and white baker’s twine, card stock for the gift tag and a clothes pin.
#3 Holiday Gift Wrapping Ideas: Red Tulle
What you need: White kraft paper and scotch tape, red tulle and a printed gift tag. Simple and festive!
#4 Holiday Gift Wrapping Ideas: Tinsel
I saved the best for last! What you need: white kraft paper and scotch tape, tinsel, white twine and a gift tag. This way is my favorite. It may be a little messy, but who cares! Having fun is part of the experience, right?
