Peach season is one of my favorite times of the year. I’m always looking for new ways to include peaches in different dishes. A new spin on the classic peaches and cream is Grilled Peaches with Cinnamon Whipped Cream. It tastes just as good as it sounds and is quick and easy to assemble.
Grilled Peaches with Cinnamon Whipped Cream
Ingredients:
Fresh ripe peaches
1 pint Heavy Whipping Cream
Sugar
¾ -1 t Cinnamon
Olive oil
For the topping:
Using a Kitchenaid, beat heavy whipping cream, sugar and cinnamon to desired taste and consistency. Set aside until peaches are grilled.
For the peaches:
Turn grill on to medium low.
Wash peaches and keep the outside skin on.
Slice in half and take pit out.
Brush inside of peaches with olive oil and place sliced side on heated grill.
Keep lid of the grill open and cook 1-3 minutes, making sure they don’t get too dark.
Using tongs, turn peaches over and cook for 1 minute.
Place warm peaches on a serving tray and top with cinnamon whipped cream. This fancy dessert is definitely a crowd pleaser and super simple. Perfect for summer entertaining!
