Monday Inspiration

Happy Monday to everyone. I cannot believe we are already to the first Monday in December. This has been a wonderful year with many surprises. Today’s Monday Inspiration post is about reflection of the past and goals for the New Year. As I reflect on 2012, I am happy that I have completed most of my goals.

Monday Inspiration and Goals

I do practice what I preach, and I believe that this quote from Oprah is so true. “Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher.” In other words, seek others out that have your same passion and like minded interests. You will be amazed at how enthusiastic you are around them. They also make you feel good about yourself and what you are trying to accomplish.

On the same line, I remember the day last year when the tickets went on sale for ALT Summit and before I had researched more about it, the tickets were gone. That day, I wrote “ALT 2013” on a piece of paper and pinned it to my inspiration board in my office. I looked at it every day, and it reminded me of the goal I wanted to achieve for the next year. A year later, after I had been staring at that reminder for months and months, I was prepared and I got my ticket. I am so excited to be travelling to SLC in January to spend 3 days talking about everything I love ~ blogging, connecting with new friends and learning more about our business.

So, what is it that you really want to do in 2013? Why wait until January to make your list? Write 2 things on a piece of paper now, and look at that note every day until you have reached your goal.
